Some adventures- Documented

Stockholm 24/08/24

I spent a few days in Stockholm, staying with my cousin Aaron and his girlfriend, Juni, in their suburban apartment just a train journey out of the city. The place was full of pastel and intricate detail, themes of art, history and nature. An archipelago of choice for all. The old town is full of narrow walkways, cobbles, second-hand stores and all that makes Stockholm, Stockholm. The streets are flooded with souvenir shops as wobble through the heart of the city.

Crapps wood- Plymouth 22/06/24

The Plym valley trail stretches from Plymouth to Tavistock and runs over three viaducts. It runs for 10 miles, both alongside the river Plym, and the old railway line. It is a popular spot for cyclists, I have never been down it, but from reviews and looking over the bridge to the path, it looked amazing, a wide bridleway under an archway of trees, like a never ending tunnel. I will be going back one day to regain my confidence on a bike. Niema and I, bike-less, opted to go along the river bed, it runs parallel to the cycle route but goes down a steep hill to start- in order to get to the same level as the river. The steep decline included lots of slippery rocks, mud and ironically a lot of crap, we made it down slowly and no one fell! It wouldn’t be a great start for those with weak knees but once you’re at the bottom it’s fine.

The Elephant in the room on the gram

This year has become a dartmoor year for me, often going once or twice a week, not on hugely long walks in distance but ones that require a lot of time. In an attempt to share this method of adventure, I'm running some group photography walks, they will be slow meanders through the forest, along the river or across the moors. Accompanied by a packed lunch and possibly a cold swim, the aim is to spend time looking at nature in detail, enjoying it and taking it slow :)

Everyone is welcome!
